Monky-ish monkeys
These were the original monkeys that were drawn for the children's Valentine's collection I am working on. I think they look a little too much like bears. I need to adjust.
Valentine's of a Feather
And here are two bird characters that will be part of the children's Valentine collection I am working on. I am happy with how they turned out.

Friends and Family Children's Valentine collection
Here are my original sketches for a children's Valentine project I am working on. I need to make some adjustments so the monkeys and kangaroos don't look so much like bears.

My Zucchini Garden
Here is a recent drawing of the zucchini in my garden. The leaves are getting really big! We are having fun growing our own food.

coffee, dessert and the octopus ordeal
Will you join me for some pie? I have this vintage Danish-modern dish set as well as some delicious pie I made.
This octopus is pissed - he has a specific "comfortable zone" in which he allows others to approach him. These fish got a bit too close.

Monsties
Sad
Shocked
Restful
Jolly
Synical
Hopeful

Gardening, Writing, Rejuvenating
Writing and gardening are kind of similar. I think with writing, you are nurturing your emotions and thoughts you maybe didn't know you had. These grow into your beliefs and how your world is shaped. Gardening takes nurturing and patience - and tending to it every day. Both of these activities bring about what can be rich and valuable products.

I've got big feet and remembering the days when it was quieter
Here are a few drawings, integrated into my journaling. Been trying to write down my thoughts every day and draw from reality. I am valuing the warm days of summer, as I know they wont be here forever.
